There’s lots of options within easy striking distance of Element Games. Here’s a few to get you started:
Premier Inn Stockport South, 73 Buxton Road, Heaviley, Stockport, SK2 6NB
This hotel is located just across the road from Element Games. If you want to stay somewhere closer to the venue you’d probably need to sleep in your car.
Premier Inn Stockport Central, 48 Churchgate, Stockport, SK1 1YG
This hotel is a bit further out, but still within easy reach of Element. It’s either a good walk or you can hop on public transport/grab a taxi.
Alma Lodge Hotel, 149 Buxton Road, Stockport, SK2 6EL
Another venue within a short walk of Element Games and another that is popular with gamers.
Holiday Inn Express, 11 Station Road, Stockport, SK3 9JD
The Holiday Inn is within easy reach of Stockport station and is very close to the bus route to the venue.
TrAnsport
Airplane: Stockport is very close to Manchester Airport, although the traffic can make it feel much further away. Once your plane arrives there are plenty of taxis available, and there are also regular trains into Manchester.
Boat: whilst there are plenty of canals and rivers only attempt this if you have a lot of time on your hands.
Bus: Element Games is just off the A6 which is a very busy bus route. There are regular buses. The location is not far from Stockport Crematorium if you need to check whether you are going in the right direction. The 192 runs up and down the A6 all day and night.
Train: the closest train station is Davenport, but there are more frequent connections into Stockport. Once you are in Stockport the venue is easily reached by any of the buses heading down the A6.
